Life After Life - Kate Atkinson

What if you could live again and again, until you got it right? On a cold and snowy night in 1910, Ursula Todd is born to an English banker and his wife. She dies before she can draw her first breath. On that same cold and snowy night, Ursula Todd is born, lets out a lusty wail, and embarks upon a life that will be, to say the least, unusual. For as she grows, she also dies, repeatedly.

Longbourn - Jo Baker

The servants at Longbourn estate, only glancingly mentioned in Jane Austen's classic, take center stage in Jo Baker's lively, cunning new novel. Here are the Bennets as we have never known them: seen through the eyes of those scrubbing the floors, cooking the meals, emptying the chamber pots.

Large Print News

UK's Biggest Large Print Publisher Ceases Trading - The UK publisher responsible for producing more Large Print titles than anybody else went out of business late last year. AudioGo, formerly BBC Audiobooks, whose imprints included Windsor, Chivers, Paragon, Camden and Galaxy produced over 80 titles a month. They went into Administration last October and after a buyer could not be found the business was wound up leaving massive debts. This has left a big gap in the market as they published many of our most popular titles and leaves Large Print under represented in the UK. We are working on our own publishing plans, although they are at a very early stage, but in the mean time are continuing to source Large Print titles from both the UK and US to try and offer a real diversity of books.

When ordering for the quickest delivery, always look out for those titles on our website which are marked as either 'currently in stock’ or 'In Stock (usually dispatched in 1-2 working days)'.

Other titles are normally available for dispatch within about 7 - 10 days as we have more stock arriving all the time.
